Meet James

James has won 21 tournament on various levels including B.A.S.S. club events, local team events, and Bassmaster Federation events.  James now has his heart set on competing on the pro circuits and has made a run at it for 4 years now.  He won 5 angler of the year titles in local clubs and team trials and has combine earnings over $59,000 including winning one motor in 1999 on Lake Sammamish in WA State.

Most recently James won the 2011 Bassmaster Federation Cal. State Championship event in SoCal and the 2010 Bassmaster Western Divisional for the state of California.  In 2011, James also placed 3rd at the Lake Mead WON BASS Pro-Am and took 3rd place at the WON BASS Pro-Am Championship. 

James qualified through the Bassmaster Federation ranks in the 2009-2010 season to the Bassmaster National Championship on the Red River where he just missed qualifying for the 2011 Bassmasters Classic. 

James is B.A.S.S. Federation Club President of South Orange County Bassmasters, runs various ‘Casting for Kids’ events, and has been a licensed fishing guide in the past.  He is also an outdoor journalist and has been featured on various fishing radio shows and in over 40 fishing videos including one in Japan.
