2010 Fort Hood Memorial Service
Months before this, Obama canceled a trip to appear at a memorial service at Arlington National Cemetery and instead went on an early vacation with his family. His presidents before him always showed up to lay the wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Obama canceled his trip there however and obviously felt vacation was more important.
